Payment button for any website

A snippet you paste into your page - built with anything - and you are taking card payments. Your site needs no server, and no particular platform.

How it works

You create the link once in the ROKI portal, with the amount and description inside it. Here you paste it and get the snippet. Paste that into your page and you are done: when someone presses it, the ROKI checkout opens with that amount.

Why this is safe

The amount does not travel in the snippet: it lives in the payment you already created on ROKI. What you paste is an address. Someone can open the browser console and rewrite your entire page - and still cannot pay less, because the amount is not there. That is the only correct way to build a pasteable button, and it is why you will not find a price field on this page.

The three steps

  1. In the ROKI portal, create a payment with the amount you want to charge. Mark it as a reusable link: without that the link is consumed by the first payment and the second customer sees "Enlace no disponible".
  2. Copy the checkout_url the portal gives you. It starts with https://aura.roki.systems/pay/.
  3. Paste it below, choose how it should look, and copy the snippet into your page.

When pressed

With the separate window, your buyer does not lose whatever they were filling in on your page.

This is how it will look

Your snippet

Paste it into your page wherever you want the button. On Wix, Squarespace or Webflow it goes in an HTML or embed-code block.

Your QR code and your poster

The same link above gives you three more things without typing anything else: a QR for the counter, a poster ready to print, and the WhatsApp message already written. If your business has no website, this is the path.

Your QR code

To send over WhatsApp

Before printing two hundred, scan your own poster with your phone and pay a test. A printed poster with an expired link is two hundred sheets in the bin.

Worth knowing

Your customer scans the QRWith THEIR phone and THEIR data. That is why the poster keeps charging even when your shop loses its connection.
One button, one amountThe amount is fixed in the link. If you sell things at different prices, create one link for each - and one button for each.
How you know you got paidIt arrives in the ROKI portal like any other payment. If your site has no server, that is where to look. If it has one, register a webhook and you find out automatically.
If the link expiresThe payment you created has an expiry date. After it, the button stops working and you need a new one.
Who can use itAnyone with the link. It is a payment link, not a personal invoice: do not publish it if the charge was meant for one person only.
