ROKI Connect for Odoo 19.0

Take card payments in Honduran lempiras, from your own Odoo.

ROKI Connect is a Honduran payment gateway. This module adds it as a payment provider, so your customers pay by card and the order is confirmed on its own.

How it charges

The customer confirms the order and goes out to a secure ROKI page to pay, then comes back. Card details are typed on ROKI's page: they never pass through your Odoo server, and this module never sees or stores them.

The transaction is confirmed by a signed notification, not by the customer's browser returning. Coming back means the browser came back, not that the money moved. The signature is checked with HMAC-SHA256 over the raw request body, in constant time.

What it does for you

  • Refunds from Odoo. The module voids the transaction while it still can - a void never shows up on the customer's card statement - and refunds it once settled.
  • Automatic reconciliation. A scheduled action asks ROKI about pending transactions, so a notification lost to a deployment does not leave a customer with a stuck order.
  • Repeated notifications are discarded by their event id.
  • A lempira guard. ROKI charges in HNL. If the order is in another currency the module stops before charging instead of sending the bare number.

What it does not do, said plainly

It does not confirm an order because the customer came back from the checkout. It does not store card numbers - it never receives them. And it does not take payments in any currency other than the Honduran lempira.

Setting it up

  1. Install the module and go to Invoicing → Configuration → Payment Providers, then open ROKI Connect.
  2. Paste your secret key. Keys starting with sk_test_ are sandbox and sk_live_ are production - the key itself decides, the routes are the same.
  3. Copy the webhook URL shown on that screen, register it in the Webhooks tab of the ROKI portal, and paste back the signing secret it gives you.
  4. Set the company currency to HNL, publish the provider, and make one test order with a sandbox key before taking real money.
